Forró is about connection, self-expression, and enjoying the music. We believe the true joy of dance lies in shared connection and comfort, not in how many complex steps you know. Learning new moves is a consequence of working on fundamental skills. Our classes balance physical skills with a social, supportive mindset:
Our level divisions simply guide your path and focus on the right concepts at the right time. Being a great dancer involves technique, musicality, movement range, and cultural understanding. And everyone grows at their own pace. We don't teach you to collect steps; we help you become a thoughtful and welcoming partner that people love dancing with.

Trimester Based Courses
Our courses are structured by trimesters (approx. 3 months) to ensure a consistent learning pace.
Progressing at Your Own Pace

In Brazil, forró is a living culture that people often pick up naturally right at parties. You can definitely learn that way here in The Hague, too! There are plenty of local opportunities (including free socials) to get out there and dance!
Why take classes then?
In class, we break down the technique, body awareness, and comfortable connection that make dancing
feel smooth, safe, and effortless.
Why parties are essential:
Classes teach you the language, but parties are where you actually speak it! Stepping onto the social
dance floor is where you learn to adapt to different partners, feel the room's energy, and truly make the
dance your own.

Not able to attend the regular classes or interested in a more personalised approach?
Our teacher, Bruna Azevedo, offers private lessons for sutdents who want to deepen their knowledge, target a specific skill, or receive one-on-one attention on their dance journey.
In addition to teaching regular courses in The Hague (since 2021) and Utrecht (since 2022), Bruna has been invited to teach workshops across the Netherlands and at international festivals in Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Greece and Turkey.
